Nike and BHM (Black History Month)

One of the most anticipated releases for Nike in the month of February each and every year, is their Black History Month pack.  BHM, which is how Nike refers to Black History Month celebrates the strides that African-Americans have made in the world of sports. A Nike "pack" is when Nike releases a certain colorway for a group of sneakers. A pack can consist of a shoe from the Lebron, Kobe, Durant, Sportswear line respectively, it is all of Nike's discretion. Well for the 2012 BHM Pack Nike decided to include seven of their signature shoes.

The shoes selected for this collection are (in order from left to right) ; Air Max 1, Hurrache, Blazer, Zoom Kobe VII, Lebron IX, KDIV, and the historic shoe of them all the Air force One.

With Nike's theme for 2012 BHM being "uplift", I believe they do a great job doing so.  All pictures are courtesy of Nike.
